The Violet Hour: Foggy Fence

Painted from a photograph taken in the waning hours of twilight in Southeastern Ontario. On a warm summer's evening, when I was visiting my parents, the fog rolled in and made the perfect backdrop for photographing this century-old cattle fence. This painting is the third in a series I've painted of my parents' farmland.
